Queen Elizabeth's School, located in Dubai Sports City, has unveiled its scholarship program, offering 25 scholarships to exceptional prospective students. The program aims to identify and support individuals demonstrating remarkable potential in academics, sports, creative arts, leadership, and community service, while also honoring future Emirati leaders through the Emirati Excellence Scholarship. It is open to students entering Year 5 through Year 8 and is a key aspect of the school's commitment to fostering a community characterized by ambition, character, and high standards prior to its opening in August 2026.

Recipients of the scholarships will benefit from customized programs focused on nurturing their specific strengths and promoting their ongoing development. This initiative ensures that talent is acknowledged early and cultivated with purpose and consistency.

Scholarships for founding families are renewable each year and can cover up to 25% of tuition fees. Additionally, successful applicants will be eligible for a fixed 25% Founder Fee, potentially reducing total fees by up to 50%.

Inspired by the legacy and educational philosophy of Queen Elizabeth's School in Barnet, the program seeks to identify young individuals who will positively contribute to the founding culture of QE Dubai Sports City and serve as role models in an environment that fosters qualities central to the school's mission: confidence, ability, and responsibility.

Five Pathways

The scholarship program offers opportunities in the following areas:

  • Academic Scholarships for students exhibiting intellectual curiosity and engagement, contributing to the school's academic environment through initiatives like QE Futures.

  • Emirati Excellence Scholarships, recognizing Emirati students who display ambition, academic prowess, and a strong connection to UAE culture and values. Scholars will participate in initiatives across the academic curriculum, QE Futures, and QE Flourish, focusing on cultivating future national leaders.

  • Flourish Sports Scholarships for students demonstrating commitment, discipline, and talent in various sports. Scholars will receive expert coaching and access to excellent facilities, as well as development pathways supported by partnerships with ISD Dubai Sports City.

  • Flourish Creative Arts Scholarships for talented students in music, drama, visual arts, digital arts, or related fields. Selected scholars will engage in performances, exhibitions, and collaborative projects, working with specialists to enhance their artistic skills.

  • Flourish Leadership and Service Scholarships for students showcasing initiative, empathy, and a history of positive contributions to their school or community. Scholars will assume roles in leadership and service projects, helping shape the school's early character.

Assessment and Selection

Applicants will participate in a scholarship assessment designed to evaluate each student's strengths, interests, and potential contributions to the school community. Depending on the pathway, assessments may include academic tasks, skills-based activities, interviews, collaborative challenges, portfolios, or recorded performances.

The assessments will focus not only on current performance but also on attitude, engagement, and growth potential.

A School Community Defined by Ambition and Character

Dan Clark, the Founding Principal of Queen Elizabeth's School, Dubai Sports City, stated: “Our goal is to identify young individuals whose abilities and character will help shape the school from the beginning. These 25 scholarships not only recognize talent but also the willingness to contribute, lead, and take responsibility. We aspire for our scholars to exemplify the values of confidence, ability, and responsibility that are central to QE Education.”

Families interested in learning more about the Scholarship Program are invited to attend a live webinar with Dan Clark, Founding Principal, on Tuesday, 7 April 2026, at 8:00 PM GST.
