On Thursday, Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company, known as du, announced that it is providing 15GB of free data and unlimited outgoing calls to UAE residents who find themselves stranded abroad due to flight cancellations.

The second-largest telecom operator in the UAE communicated to its customers that it has activated a complimentary 15GB roaming data bundle for those in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, which includes unlimited outgoing calls and 500 incoming minutes.

This special offer is effective starting today and will last for three days.

In a statement on Wednesday, du reassured customers that its operational readiness, infrastructure, and core systems are functioning normally despite the ongoing military conflicts involving the US, Israel, and Iran.

Fahad Al Hassawi, CEO of du, emphasized, “Our priority remains ensuring uninterrupted connectivity and maintaining the resilience of our operations while ensuring the safety of our people. We operate critical national infrastructure, and our role within the UAE economy is very clear.”
