As February and March come around, the fashion world turns its attention to the capital of style, eagerly anticipating the latest trends in haute couture. This April, however, Paris will shine a light on a different aspect of fashion.
From April 16 to 18, the 11th edition of Modest Fashion Week will take place in the French capital, marking its first appearance in one of the globe's most influential fashion cities. Organized by Think Fashion, this move to Paris follows successful events in Istanbul, London, Dubai, and Riyadh.
In recent years, modest fashion has transitioned from the fringes to the forefront of the industry, spurred on by cultural events like the introduction of 'Hijarbie'—a modest Barbie wearing a hijab—and global discussions surrounding the burkini. These occurrences highlight an increasing demand for representation, inclusivity, and a permanent role in the global fashion landscape.

CEO Özlem Sahin describes the Paris event as a pivotal opportunity to bolster the legitimacy of modest fashion within the global fashion calendar. "We all understand what modest fashion is today; that question is settled," Sahin states. "The real question is how we can enhance the modest fashion supply chain and empower each other at every level of business and conscious consumption."
What to Expect at the 3-Day Event:
The three-day event will be hosted at the Hôtel Le Marois, an exquisite hôtel particulier just steps away from the Champs-Élysées. This historic setting offers an intimate and impactful environment for an exclusive audience of about 200 guests per show, ensuring a top-tier experience for media, buyers, and industry leaders.
The event goes beyond mere visual appeal; it aims to serve as a multi-faceted platform that merges artistic expression with commercial opportunities. The agenda features approximately 30 carefully curated runway shows, eight industry panel discussions focused on sustainability and inclusivity, and a specialized B2B showroom for designers to connect with international retail professionals.

While the event is aimed at a global audience, the 2026 edition will place a special emphasis on Arab heritage. Several distinguished designers from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the broader MENA region are already confirmed to participate. For instance, Fashion by Shehna from the UAE will showcase contemporary Arab design aesthetics, while Qatar’s Hindami will offer a fusion of modest tailoring and streetwear. Kuwaiti representation will come from Roqaia Fashion House, which specializes in heritage-inspired abayas and eveningwear.
These regional talents will be joined by international brands such as LA MODESA from the US, Dahlia Bridal from the UK, and Russia’s Aynaeva, contributing to a truly global fashion dialogue.
