Attention all Minecrafters!
Prepare your building blocks because the Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is set to arrive in Singapore soon, announced Mandai Wildlife Group on Monday (March 2).
This interactive experience will feature immersive projections, theatrical sets, motion-tracking gameplay, and experiential storytelling. It will take place at the Green Canvas at Mandai Wildlife Reserve from April 24 to Sept 13.
Participants will embark on a one-hour, story-driven quest where they must collaborate to save a village under attack by zombies.
They will traverse through eight rooms inspired by iconic game locations, such as Minecraft Forest.
Each player will have the opportunity to "mine" resources, engage with game entities, mold the environment, and impact the outcome of their adventure using an "Orb of Interaction".
Upon completing the journey, participants can rejoice at the Trading Post where they will receive a special commemorative keepsake. They will also be able to claim a coveted in-game cape as a reward.
This marks the experience's first appearance in Asia following successful runs in cities like Dallas, London, and Toronto.
The presales waitlist for tickets to Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is now open, offering exclusive early access to ticket sales on March 10. General ticket sales will commence on March 11.
Attendees will be assigned timeslots with 15-minute intervals. Ticket prices are $46 for adults and $40 for children (aged three to 12) on weekdays, and $51 for adults and $44 for children on weekends.
Until March 23, WildPass and Friends of Mandai members can enjoy a special early bird discount of 15%.
